Princeton graduate exchange in Late Antique, Byzantine and early Medieval history

Leibniz-ScienceCampus Mainz belongs to Princeton graduate exchange in Late Antique, Byzantine and early Medieval history since May 2014.


The aim of the project is to provide a forum for interdisciplinary exchange between students and renowned representatives in Late Antique, Byzantine and early Medieval studies.
For this purpose an annual meeting of postgraduates and mentoring academics of all participating institutions takes place.  Besides Princeton University the University of Vienna, the Freie Universität Berlin, the University of Oxford and Leibniz-ScienceCampus Mainz are recently participating.
